Combat

PvP in Riva City runs on preparation: scout the target, bring the right gun, enough bullets, and good armour. Attacks spend energy, raise heat, and can backfire — a knocked-out target ends up in the hospital.

Attack Types

  • Mug — takes a cut of the target's pocket cash.
  • Robbery — takes an item from the target's inventory.
  • Car Jacking — takes a vehicle from the target's garage.
  • Extortion — takes a share of a building's uncollected income.
  • Takeover — takes ownership of a property.

Scouting

Scouting a target before attacking reveals their condition and improves your odds. A scout costs energy, can fail against higher-ranked players, and expires after a while — or immediately if the target changes district. Players hiding in a safehouse can't be scouted or hit.

Weapons & Armour

Guns come in five classes — melee, pistols, SMGs, assault rifles, and sniper rifles — and higher rarity means a stronger weapon. Armour blunts incoming damage the same way. Both drop from crimes and heists or come from trader shops; see each item's wiki page for its sources.

Bullets

Every shot burns ammunition, and ammo has exactly one source: district Bullet Factories, which restock on a limited hourly schedule at owner-set prices. Bullets never drop from crimes or heists — stock up before you pick a fight.

Consequences

Failed or messy attacks raise heat and can leave you injured. Losing a fight can put you in the hospital with recovery timers, and heavy heat invites prison time. Attacking is unlocked at higher ranks — check the rank ladder.
